Time Warner to sell off IPC Magazines?

March 2013 - it turns out that TimeWarner couldn't do a deal with Meredith Publishing so it isn't selling Time Inc (the magazine publishing arm to them afterall. Instead, they are separating Time from the Film/TV branch of the company so that they can focus on Film/TV. This suggests to me that they are not very confident about the magazine publishing part of the business and want it to stand alone.
